Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Decorated Cream Pot.
Its decoration indicates that it was made by the pottery of the Ottman Brothers of Fort Edward, N.Y. William and Gilbert Ottman who ran their company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).
This beauty sports the a Freehand Stylized Cornucopia in Bright Cobalt. This was a standard decoration for Ottman. Measures 7 3/4" tall and 9 3/4" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. A 1/4" chip inside the rim, a 3/8" chip outside the rim, and some small scattered glaze flakes on the right side (closeup). No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
