Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Fancy 4 Gallon Crock Lid.
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features an Embossed Floral Petal Decoration around the Top dipped in Albany Slip, Surrounded by a Salt Glaze Edge.  Measures 11 1/2" in diameter and fits in a crock with an opening of 9 1/2".  
 
Excellent Condition. A 1" chip inside the seating ring on the underside.  That's it!  No other chips, or an hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Faint inventory number on the underside of the rim, and drying line in the center on the underside in the making.
