Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Mermaid Flask. 
 
Such flasks were popular with sailors in the mid-19th century for their "spirits." 
 
I find it interesting that the mermaid's face and head look like Queen Victoria in her head attire.  Also, how is it that the top of the fish scales is a fancy embroidery? I detect there may be more to the story here.  Measures 7.5" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Some wear on the high points on the back.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
