    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks are these 2 Stoneware Jars from Baltimore, Maryland for 1 Money.

     

    Circa 1870, these jars features a Tooled Rim with Groove for Ease of Tying a Wax Paper or Cloth Over the Top as a Closure, and Cobalt Decoration.  

     

    The taller jar has four brushed cobalt florals with a blossom with four petals hanging from two leaves.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.   Good Condition with a nearly invisible 3" hairline from the rim (closeup).  Otherwise as made.  

     

    The shorter jar has five brushed cobalt three-leaf clovers around the middle.  Stands 10" tall.  A spider on the bottom-- none of which shows inside. Otherwise as made.
