Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is a Pair of Yellow Ware Canisters: Salt and Coffee.
These were made in Ohio in the early 20th century.
They feature the commody they hold in raised letters accented in gold, additional gold accent to the rim, and blue-green sponging. Stand 6 1/4" tall.
The Salt Canister is damage free. The lid has a 1" chip on the outer edge as shown. The Coffee Canister has a hairline from the rim to the second "F" in coffee (closeup). Otherwise as made. The lid has exceptional restoration for chips at the edge.
