Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware 3 Gallon Stoneware Jar whose decoration indicates that it was made in Jane Lew, West Virginia.  
 
Circa 1875, this beauty features a Tooled Rim with Cobalt Stripe, "3" Capacity Number, and Three Stripes Framing Upward Comma Vining-- all framed on the sides by a Column of Seven Comma Dashes.    Stands 14 1/4" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition. A 6" vertical hairline on the right side bottom that wraps under 4" (closeup).  No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
