Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made by "A. Conrad, New Geneva, PA."
Alexander Conrad ran the pottery in New Geneva from 1870-1882 before moving to Shinnston, WV (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 164-65).
Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features a Thick Semi-Squared Rim, Rounded Sides, and Three Lines of Advertising with a Floral Between Each Line. Measures 8 1/2" tall and 8" wide across the top. ooled Rim and Shoulder, Rounded Sides, and the Company Advertising in Four Lines with Flora
Excellent Condition. A 3/4" chip inside the rim. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 1/4" clay void on the front near the bottom in the making.
