Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 8" Wax Sealer Canning Jar made by "A. P.  Donaghho, Fredericktown, Pa."
 
This is the mark of Alexander P. Donaghho who ran his pottery in Fredericktown with this name from 1867-1870 before moving to Parkersburg, WV (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , 170-173).
 
This beauty features the Wax Sealer Form with Flared Rim, Canted Sides, and the Company Advertising across the Front on a Diagonal.  Stands 8 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  An 1/8" nibble inside the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A kiln touch on the right side in the making.
