    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this superb 3 Gallon Jar whose decoration indicates that it was made by A. P. Donaghho of Parkersburg, West Virginia.

     

    Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.

     

    This beauty features a Thick Tooled Rim, Applied Handles, and Two Garlands of Sheaves of Wheat Framing the Capacity Number in a Wreath and Flanked by Flower Blossoms.  All the decoration is executed with crisp stenciling and strong cobalt.  Stands 13 1/2" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition. A 1" chip inside the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
