Welcome back to this jar that I sold a decade ago!

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this superb 5 Gallon Jar made by "A. P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W.Va."

Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.

This beauty features the Company Advertising at the Top; a Fancy Zipper made of Dots, Dashes, and Teardrops in the Middle; and a Zipper made of "X's" that Incorporates the Capacity Number at the Bottom. All the decoration is executed with crisp stenciling and strong cobalt.  Light glaze and strong cobalt for greatly desired contrast.  Stands 15" tall.

Excellent Condition. A 1 1/4" spot of chipping under the backside of the right handle.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
