    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Churn made by "A. P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W. VA."

     

    Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg, WV from 1874-1900.

     

    This beauty features a handsome Smaller Size Churn Form, Tall Tooled Rim, Applied Handles, Light Gray Salt Glaze, and the Company Advertising Stenciled in Large Letters with the Capacity Number framed by Sheaves of Wheat Below.  All the stenciling is dark, crisp and complete.  Stands 14 1/4" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition.  A few minor nibbles on the inner lid seating ring and a 1/4" chip on the right handle.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
