Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this superb 8 Gallon Crock made by "A. P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W.V."
 
Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900. 
 
This beauty features the more uncommon Crock Form, Large Size, Company Advertising in Bold Letters at the Top Framed by Fancy Top and Bottom Borders, and the Capacity Number in a Wreath Flanked by Wings Below.  All the decoration is executed with crisp stenciling and strong cobalt.  Measures 16" tall and 13 1/2" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 1/2" chip inside the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Exceptionally clean example.
