Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Twelve-Sided Stoneware Bottle that reads, "A. Steinmetz" in Incised Lettering. 
 
Made in the mid-19th century in Akron, Ohio for this Cleveland, Ohio merchant, this beauty features the Name in Incised Lettering and a Freehand Cobalt "X" on the Shoulder. Stands 9 3/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor nibbles inside the spout and around the underside at the edge.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A small stone ping near the base in the making.
