Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Pint Canning Jar that reads, '"As You Like It' Horse-Radish."
 
It was made at the beginning of 20th century by the Weir Pottery of Monmouth, Illinois.  The lid is embossed "Weir, Patent '92".  It is shown in Jim Martin and Bette Cooper, Monmouth-Western Stoneware, p. 33. 
 
This beauty features the Tiny 1/2" Pint Size, Weir Form and Lid, and the Original Metal Closure.  Stands 4 3/4" to the top of the metal closure.
 
Excellent Condition. Three minor nibbles around the top from use with the lid.  Otherwise as made.  The lid has two small chips on the edge (1/8", 1/4").  Otherwise as made.
