Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "Ballard Vale Stoneware Mfg. C." 
 
This company resided in Ballard Vale, Massachusetts around the 1870's. 
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Delicate Flowering Plant Created with a Slip Cup.  All the leaves surround a center blossom.  Stands 11" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. A single 1/4" chip on the bottom edge.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 1/2" clay void by the handle where a piece of straw in the clay burned away in the making.
