Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Bank of Upper Canada One Half Penny Bank Token minted in 1854.  
 
The front features St. George Slaying the Dragon with "Bank of Upper Canada" and the date around the outer edge.  The back features the Coat of Arms of the Bank with "Bank Token, One Half Penny" around the outside.  This is the plain version of the date.  
 
I am not a coin expert, but based on the minimal wear and comparsion to other pieces on the web, this coin it in extra fine condition.  Please judge for yourselves. 
 
This coin was given to me in 1968 by my great aunt with other coins in an old velvet money pouch.
