Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful One Penny Bank Token from the Bank of Montreal 1842.  
 
The front features the Coat of Arms of the City of Montreal with the date 1842 below and "Bank Token One Penny around the Outside."  The back features the Bank of Montreal Building with "Province fo Canada, Bank of Montreal" around the Outside.  
 
I am not a coin expert, but based on the modest wear and comparsion to other pieces on the web, this coin it in very good condition.  Please judge for yourselves. There is a small indentation on the edge as shown. 
 
This coin was given to me in 1968 by my great aunt with other coins in an old velvet money pouch.
