Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made for "Bayless, McCarthy & Co., Louisville, KY."
 
It was made in SW Pennsylvania at either Greensboro by either Hamilton or Hamilton and Jones. 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features Two Top and One Bottom Stripe that frames the Company Advertising on a Slight Diagonal and Incorporating a Small Banner.  Exquisite contrast between the cobalt and light gray glaze.  Stands 9 1/2" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Some residual water glass staining inside, and a 1/2" chip on the back at the bottom.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, outer stains, or restoration.
