Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock made and inscribed on the bottom with a cross, the initials "BBP" and "SL" and the date 1989.
 
This is the work of Jerry Beaumont and his brother know as the Beaumont Brothers Pottery.  Jerry Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  
 
This beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Wreath with the Capacity Number Within.  The wreath is large and fills the front, and the cobalt is dark and shiny to add even more visual impact.  Measures 9 3/4" tall and 10" wide across the top.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A 1/2" drying line inside the rim in the making (closeup).
