Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Bowl made and stamped on the shoulder by the "Beaumont Pottery, York, Maine," and inscribed on the bottom with a Cross, the initials "JB", and the date 1981.
 
This is the work of Jerry Beaumont whom I believe has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  His work from York, Maine in the 1980's was some of his finest.  
 
This beauty features a Bowl Form with Rounded Sides, Tooled Rim, Applied Handles, Pottery Stamp, and Two Birds on a Branch Decoration Executed with a Slip Cup.  Measures 4 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.  
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
