Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Merchant Jug made for "Benton, Myers, & Co., Cleveland, Ohio."
Benton and Myers was a well-known druggist company in Cleveland for many years.
Circa 1900 to 1920, this jug features a Stenciled Label and an Unusual Screw Top . Measures 12 1/2" tall to the top of the stopper.
Excellent Condition. The jug has overall glaze crazing of age. No damage. The stopper has a 1/2" chip on the top and a 3/8" chip on the side.
