    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this very pretty Wash Pitcher in Blue and White Spongeware.

     

    It was offered by the J. W. McCoy Company of Roseville, Ohio in its 1904 Catalogue (Sharon and Bob Huxford, The Collector's Catalogue of Brush-McCoy Pottery, p. 30).

     

    This beauty features an Embossed Ribbon around the Rim, Lyre-Shaped Embossed Decoration on Each Side, Fancy Handle with Thumbgrip, and Fine and Carefully Applied Blue Sponging.  Stands 10 1/2" tall. 

     

    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
