Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Staffordshire Spatterware Pitcher and Bowl.
Circa 1830, this beauty features a Fancy Eight-Sided Pitcher and Bowl with Blue Spatter Decoration and Eagle and Shield Transfer Print. The eagle features on each side of the pitcher and three times inside the bowl. The pitcher stands 11 1/4" tall and the bowl is 4 3/4" tall and 12" wide across the top.
The pitcher is mint. No damage of any kind. The bowl has a small stain inside and one outside, and three lines on one of the eight panels (2", 2", 4 1/2"- closeup). They are most hidden in the spatter decoration.
As you know, an extraordinarily difficult set to find after nearly 200 years.
