Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Butter Crock in the Daisy and Waffle Pattern.
This was made by the A. E. Hull Pottery in the early 20th century. You can see a fine description of this piece in Terry Taylor and Terry and Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, pp. 111-112.
This beauty features a Border with Zig-Zag Pattern, Waffle Background that Hosts Four Daisy Blossoms Evenly Spaced Around the Middle, and cobalt accent on the top trim and centers of the daisies. Measures 5 1/2" tall and 7 1/4" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A partially glazed 1/4" indentation on the base edge in the making.
