Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Rolling Pin in the Wildflower Pattern.  
 
This pin reads, "Compliments of E. J. Sandow, Fancy Groceries, 1363 Hopkins St."  This rolling pin is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
 
This type of pin is illustrated in Terry Taylor and Terry & Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, p. 144.
 
Dating to the first quarter of the 20th century, this beauty features a Blue Stripe and Two Sets of Wildflowers on Each End and Four Lines of Cobalt Advertising in the Middle.  Measures 8" long and 3" wide.  
 
Excellent Condition.  An 1/8" nibble on one end.  That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A void where some straw burned away in the firing (closeup).
