Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware Shaving Mug in the Bowknot Pattern.
 
Similar pieces are pictured in Terry Taylor and Terry and Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware , pp. 204-205.
 
This beauty features a Ribbed Form with an Embossed Bowknot on Each Side.  Diffused blue coloration.  This pattern often was embellished with other decoration and this piece has a stenciled cobalt wildflowers.  Stands 3 3/4" tall.
 
Good Condition.  Two 1/2" surface ping lines at the rim (closeups).  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
