Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Dutch Oven made and stamped on the bottom, "Dutch Cooking Ware, None Genuine without This Trade Mark."  The trade mark is an urn with flames coming out the top.  
 
This beauty features Elaborate Embossed Decoration with Cat's Paw Sponging.  The base is 4" by 11" and with the lid it is 7" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition. The base has light crazing inside from age.  Otherwise as made.  The lid has six small chips (1/4" to 1/2") and minor nibbles around the outer edge, and a 1/2" chip on the inner seating ring.  Otherwise as made.
 
These are typically in bad condition from extensive use in the oven.  This has had little use.
