    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Spongeware Pitcher from Roseville, Ohio in the Carnelian Pattern. 

     

    Dating to the early 20th century, it features the Carnelian Pattern with Two Embossed Leaves Fanning out from each side of the Handle to Embrace the Side of the Pitcher.  Strong cobalt sponging.  Stands 7 1/2" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" spot on the spout where a void in the clay gave way (closeups), and a 1/4" chip and minor nibbles on the base.  No hairlines, cracks, stains or restoration.
