Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Umbrella Stand.
Circa 1900, this beauty features a Two Embossed Bands at the Top and a Rounded Base, as well as Fine Blue Sponging in a Variety of Shades. Gorgeous! Stands 24" tall.
An added treat-- after working so hard on the sponging, the artist signed his or her initials "E S" on the bottom in a fancy flourish!
Excellent Condition. A series of small chips on the bottom edge/underside (1/4" to 3/8"). That's it! No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
