Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Crock made and stamped by "Brady and Ryan, Ellenville, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Samuel Brady and John J. Ryan who ran their pottery in Ellenville from 1878-1897 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 66).
 
This beauty features a Small Size, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and Bird on a Branch Decoration.  The little birdie is drawn in shiny cobalt.  Measures 7 3/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  A mottled glaze with some light, scattered staining.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
