Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Unusual Blue and White Spongeware Double-Handled Jar.
It was made by the Cannelton Pottery of Cannelton, Indiana. This company was founded in 1862 by the Clark Brothers and made stoneware from 1872 into the 1890's (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 114).
This beauty is Thrown on a Wheel and has a Squared Rim, Sloping Shoulder, Bulbous Body, Double-Handles, and Distinctive Cannelton Sponging. Stands 6 1/2" tall.
