Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this sweet Little Jug made for "The Chandler and Rudd Company, Cleveland."
This company was founded by William Rudd and George Chandler in 1868. Willilam Rudd and his brother George ran three grocery stores on Euclid Avenue, Cleveland from 1894 into the Depression when they expanded to 9 stores. For a history of this store, see

Dating around 1900 to 1920, this little jug features a Two-Tone Glaze and the Company Name Stenciled in a Double Circle on the Front. Stands only 8 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. Some surface y-shaped craze lines on the bottom, and a small pencil eraser-size stain. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
