Item 9224
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made for "Chas. Eneu Johnson & Co., Printing Inks, Philadelphia, New York, Cleveland, Chicago, San Francisco."
It is lightly stamped on the bottom, "R. P. C. Co., Akron, O." indicating that it was made by the Robinson Clay Products Company of Akron, Ohio (1900-1915).
This beauty features Top and Bottom Stripes that Frame a Fabulous Colorful Paper Label with Strong Graphics. The key player is a Native American seated below his pueblo between two cacti painting colorful pottery (I am assuming with ink??). Highly unusual to find such a strong paper label intact. Stands 11 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. The jug has scattered light staining and a 1/2" chip on the underside out of sight. No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. The label has only a few minor 1/8" nibbles on the edge. Not soiled.
