    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Early Stoneware Jar attributed to Baltimore, Maryland.

     

    Circa 1820, this beauty features Freehand Vining All Around the Middle Applied with a Slip Cup.  The pattern is similar to rare pitchers from early in the Baltimore pottery trade.  Stands 8 1/2" tall.

     

    Fair to Good Condition.  Two chips on top of the rim (1/4", 1"),  and a glued crack top to bottom on one side with a short 2" line up from the base where the crack ends.
