Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this early 2 Gallon Ovoid Jar with Incised Decoration.
 
Circa 1830, I believe this jar is from the Midwest, possibly Ohio.  It features an early Ovoid Form with an Inscribed  Flower Decoration.  The flower has four leaves and a round blossom.  It stands 14" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition. A 7/8" chip on the rim in the back, a small Y surface line below the decoration, two 3" hairlines at the base that wrap under 2" (closeups), and some staining from use.  No inner rim or base chips, cracks, or restoration.
