    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Uncommon 8" Staffordshire Child's Plate with "Attachment" Moral.  

     

    Dating around 1830, this beauty features a Fancy Embossed Rim with a Center Transfer Print of Five Children Huddled Around the Oldest One Reading a Book outside a Cottage.  The series was called "Flowers That Never Fade" with each plate highlighting a moral virtue.  This one is "Attachment" and reads, "Brothers & sisters hand in hand, Our lips together move: Then smile upon this little band, & join our hearts in love." 

     

    Excellent Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
