Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 3 Gallon Ovoid Jar made in Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1835, this beauty features a Tooled Square Rim, Applied Handles with Cobalt Wreath Below Each One, and a Brushed Cobalt Plant on Each Side.  Each plant has a bunch of leaves with two clovers above repeated twice on each side.  The cobalt is spectacular-- dark and shiny.  Stands 13 3/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/4" flake inside the rim and a 5/8" chip outside of the rim. That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Exceptionally clean for nearly 200 years old. Slightly out of round and a 1/2" kiln touch in one petal in the making.
