Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic 2 Gallon Ovoid Jug from Ohio.  
 
Dating around 1850, this beauty features an Ovoid Form, and a Brushed Cobalt Floral that is Over the Top!  Typically an Ohio jug from this period has a single tulip atop 2 leaves-- but this one has two blossoms atop two double leaves AND two capacity numbers-- one straight line and one dotted!  The cobalt is SPLENDOUS!.   Stands 13 3/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition. A single narrow 1/4" chip on the spout and some light staining near the bottom.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
