Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar with Tulip Garland.

The jar's form and decoration make it easy to attribute to David Parr who made stoneware in Baltimore, Maryland from 1815 to 1855 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 98).

This beauty features an Ovoid Form, Thick and Finely Tooled Rim, and a Garland of Two Tulips on Each Side.  Additional accents on the handles. The light gray clay provides a pleasing contrast with the cobalt tulips.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.

Excellent Condition.   Two chips on the rim (1/4", 3/4"), and a flat 1/2" chip on the top of one handle.   No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
