Item 10419
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Tiny 6 3/4" Stoneware Jar made in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dating around 1850, this beauty features a Small Size, Finely Tooled Square Rim, and a Garland of Freehand Vining Around the Shoulder with Three Dangling Tulips. It took 38 brushstrokes of cobalt to make the decoration. The cobalt is generous, bright, and shiny on a light gray glaze for strong contrast. Stands just 6 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. Four pinhead-size nibbles and a 3/8" chip on the outside of the rim. That's it! No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Exceptionally clean glaze.
