Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Decorated Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.  
 
Dating around 1860, this beauty features a Deeply Tooled Rim for Ease of Tying a Cover Over, and a Garland of Upward Sweeping Comma Vining from which Seven Tulips Dangle.  Stands 10 1/2" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition.  Three chips where the jar touched another in the kiln or excess clay from the kiln has come off- two in the middle and one at the base as shown.  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
