Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar from Baltimore, Maryland Circa 1860.
 
This beauty features a Squared Tooled Rim with Recess below for Ease of Tying a Cover Over the Top and Brushed Cobalt Comma Vining with Four Dangling Tulips around the Shoulder.  Stands 10 1/4" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A fine vertical hairline in the tooled rim (closeup) and two small chips on the bottom edge (1/8", 1/2").  Inner rim chips, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 2 1/2" drying/firing line from the rim inside in the making (inside picture).
