    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Cream Pot from Southwestern Pennsylvania-- probably Beaver, Pennsylvania. 

     

    Circa 1860, this beauty features a Stripe Under the Rim, a Vine with Three Blossoms, the Capacity Number Flanked by Two Dashes, and Three Stripes at the Bottom.  Measures 9 3/4" tall and 9 1/4" wide across the top. 

     

    Very Good Condition.  On the back:  a 5" crack from the rim (closeup 1), a faint 5" line parallel to the base not visible inside (closeup 2), and some light staining.  No rim or base chips, or restoration.  A light kiln touch on the far right of the decoration and a stone ping on the back bottom in the making.
