    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this rare 7 1/4" Stoneware Pitcher from Baltimore, Maryland.  

     

    Circa 1860, this beauty is a Tall Neck with Pinched Spout, Ridged Shoulder, Slightly Bulbous Body, Tooled Footer, Applied Handle, and Brushed Cobalt Decoration.  Two feather decorations adorn each side of the Neck, and all the way around the shoulder where it hosts three dangling tulips.  Additional cobalt accent at the handle terminals.  All on 7 1/4"!!!

     

    Very Good Condition.  A 1/4" nip on the left side of the spout, two continguous small chips on the footer (3/16", 1/4"), and some staining from use.

     

    As you know, a very hard size to find.
