Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jar from Southeast Ohio.
Circa 1860, this beauty featues a Tooled Semi-Square "Brim" Rim and Shoulder and Double Brushed Cobalt Tulip Decoration. The tulip has two blossoms with 5 petals each poised on a stem with four leaves and emerging from stylized ground cover. Bright cobalt throughout the "garden." Stands 13 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A couple areas of faint surface crazing on the back (closeup). That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
