    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 8 3/8" Wax Sealer Canning Jar with Freehand Decoration.

     

    The light gray clay, form, and decoration indicate that this jar was made at the Boughner Pottery in Greensboro, Pennsylvania.

     

    Circa 1860, this beauty features Tooled and Narrow Rim, Tapered Sides, and a Freehand Tulip with Looped Stem on a Light Gray Glaze. The decoration has wonderful visual appeal!  Stands 8 3/8" tall. 

     

    Very Good Condition.  Some chips around the outside of the rim, mainly in the back.  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
