Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Jar made in Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Rim for Easily Tying a Cloth or Paper Cover Over the Top, and Two Double Brushed Cobalt Three-Leaf Clovers on the Side.  The cobalt is very pretty and looks fantastic on the light gray glaze.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  As minor 1/8" nibble on the rim and a flat 1/2" chip at the base.  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 1/4" clay void on the rim and and near the base, and a glaze run in the making.
