    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Crock attributed to Beaver, Pennsylvania.

     

    Circa 1870, this beauty features a Thick Squared Rim with Stripe Accent, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accents, Freehand Capacity Number 3 Flanked by Cobalt Dashes, and a Brushed Cobalt Vine with Four Tulips.  Measures 10 1/2" tall and wide across the top.

     

    Very Good Condition.  A flat 1/2" chip on the left handle, some minor chips along the bottom edge, a stain on the back, and some surface wear from use.  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A narrow 1 3/4" chip on the bottom edge from separation in the kiln.
