Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Stoneware Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Vine with Five Blossoms Across the Front. Lots of freehand cobalt decoration. Stands 14 3/4".
Excellent Condition. A wear spot in the glaze at the far left and right of the decoration. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 2" vertical firing line at the base in the making.
