    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous Stoneware Striper Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.  

     

    Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled, Rounded Rim and Four Bright Cobalt Stripes Evenly Spaced Down the Front.  Strong and delightful contrast between the light gray glaze and the bright stripes.  Stands 8 1/4" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition. Two small flakes inside the rim (1/8", 1/4"), and a 1 1/2" narrow chip on the underside at the edge that looks like it was in the making (closeup).  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
